Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg Uses Tape to Defeat Hackers
Mark Zuckerberg is an American programmer, Internet entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Recently he was spotted using tape to obscure the webcam and microphone of his MacBook. He always believed in strict security. Earlier, it was reported that Facebook spent over $16 million for giving protection to him from ‘specific threats’ from users and other sources.
Recently, Mark shared a photo on Facebook celebrating Instagram’s 500 million monthly user milestone. He is seen sitting at his desk with an Instagram frame placard thanking users for the support. On his desk lie his MacBook and other things. Some people having an observant eye noticed something else in the picture.
In the photo, there is a piece of tape covering the webcam and microphone port on the laptop.
This is a very simple step that Zuckerberg has taken to avoid being hacked.
Yes, there have been several incidents wherein hackers have completely taken control of your webcams and have made use of them for spying and creating troubles. Same is the case with microphones.
According to FBI Director James Comey “Taping up your webcam is an excellent precaution, should you worry that someone might hack into your laptop.”
