Ringing Bell to deliver 2 Lakh units of Freedom 251 from 30 June
Ringing Bells, which launched Freedom 251, the world’s cheapest smartphone in India, claims it is now ready to deliver the smartphone to customers. The company launched its smartphone with the price tag of Rs. 251 and scheduled the delivery date in June.
Ringing Bell has also revealed original photos of Freedom 251. The smartphone looks very different than it was first shown. The company says that it will ship 2 Lakh units from 30 June. Also, the company will open registration again for those who wish to buy the smartphone.
To recall, Ringing Bell Freedom 251 is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core Processor coupled with a Mali GPU and 1GB of RAM. It has a 4-inch qHD Display with 960x540 pixels resolution.
Freedom 251 comes with a 3.2 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 0.3 Megapixel front-facing camera. It has 8GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Regarding connectivity, the smartphone supports 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, WLAN, USB OTG, and Micro-USB.
