Sony Cyber-Shot RX10 III (DSC-RX10M3) Super-Zoom Camera Launched At Rs. 1,14,990


The Sony announced Sony Cyber-shot RX10 III a month ago for the US market priced at £1,250, but it's good news for Indian Photographer's that the Sony has launched the Cyber-Shot RX10 III super-zoom camera in India, with a price tag of Rs. 1,14,990. The Camera will be available from 29th April.

The Sony Cyber-shot RX10 III is powered by Sony's Bionz X image processor and features a 20.1-megapixel stacked CMOS sensor which allows taking videos at the 4K quality. It comes with 25x super-telephoto zoom lens with a focal range of 24-600mm and silent shutter capability. The extended zoom lens features a total of 8 ED glass elements to minimise chromatic aberration and enhance picture quality.  It has movie functions such as Picture Profile, S-Gamut/S-Log2, Gamma Display Assist, improved Zebra function, REC Control, clean HDMI output, Dual REC, TC/UB, and Marker function.

The combination of the premium performance characteristics of the camera and its extended zoom capabilities open up a whole new world of imaging experiences.

The Sony Cyber-shot RX10 III is designed for those who want to shoot fast moving, far away subjects such as sports events, concerts or wild animals.


The new Sony Cyber-shot RX10 III camera adds several improvements to the body compared to its predecessors. Now we have the triple lens rings for precise adjustment of the focus, zoom, and aperture. The hand-grip of the camera has also been modified for better stability. We also get an Oled electronic viewfinder with a resolution of 2.35 million dots, dust and water resistance, as well as the camera will support Wi-Fi and NFC. A new Focus Hold button on the lens barrel allows the focus distance to be locked when it pressed and can also be assigned as a custom function button. 

A new soft carrying case, LCJ-RXJ, will also be available for the new camera.
