Last week, Micromax's sub-brand YU Televentures launched its flagship device - Yu Yunicorn in India. Now the company was declared the first flash sale for the smartphone is held on 7-June-2016 at 2 PM exclusively via Flipkart. Registrations for the sale are already started, and the registration process is close at 1 PM Today. The Yu Yunicorn is priced at Rs 12,999 and will be available in Rush Silver and Graphite color variants. It also has a limited-edition version which comes in Rush Gold colour.
Yu Yunicorn is powered by a 64 bit 1.8GHz Octa-core Helio P10 MediaTek MT6755 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and a Mali T-860 GPU. It has a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS Display with 1920x1080 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Smartphone support Dual SIM and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Around Yu 2.0 Operating System. The Company claims that the smartphone will soon receive Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow upgrade.
Yu Yunicorn comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with Dual-LED flash and a 5 Megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera. It has a 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card. Regarding connectivity, the Smartphone support 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port, and GPS. It packs a 4,000 mAh battery. It is rated to deliver up to 20 hours of talk time and 500 hours of standby time.
The Smartphone also has a Fingerprint scanner under its home button.
