Huawei Honor 5A with 5.5-inch HD display, Android M Launched in China

Huawei Terminal's Honor brand has launched Honor 5A smartphone in China. The Smartphone will go on sale starting Friday in China and will come in two versions - a standard version priced at CNY 699 (approx. Rs. 7,000) and another version priced at CNY 799 (approx. Rs. 8,000). The smartphone is available on sale on China’s Vmall website.

The Honor 5A is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It has a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a 720x1280 pixels resolution.  The Dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Emotion UI 4.1 operating system.

Out of the box, The Honor 5A comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It has 16GB of internal storage which can further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. Regarding connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity options.

The Smartphone measures 154.3x77.1x8.4mm and weighs 168 grams. It packs a 3100mAh battery which is rated to deliver a talk time of up to 28 hours and a standby time of up to 28 hours. It will be available in Blue, Black, Gold and White color variants.
