Honor Band A1 Fitness Tracker With UV Sensor Launched at Rs. 1000


Huawei has announced the Honor Band A1, a fitness tracker with a twist at its event in China. The rubber strap variant is priced at CNY 99 (approx. Rs. 1,000), and the leather strap variant is priced at CNY 199 (approx. Rs. 2,000). It is available for order in China and goes on sale starting May 25. At the moment, no details regarding a global roll out have been announced.

The  Honor Band A1 has embedded UV sensor, which measures the radiation levels around you and recommends a suitable sunscreen to use. It also sports features such as the ability to tracking exercise time, steps taken, distance walked or ran, calories burnt, along with the quality of your sleep. It has vibration ability and LED light panel for notifying texts and calls. 



The Honor Band A1 has been certified with the IP57 rating, which means that it is dust and water resistant (it can withstand immersion in up to 1 meter of water). It has a metal body and it offered in a skin-friendly silicone or leather strap.

The company claims that the 70mAh battery of the Honor Band A1 can last up to a month depending upon usage. It connects to an Android smartphone via Bluetooth 4.2, and It will be offered in eight color variants and weighs only 20 grams.
