Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Launched in India with MIUI 7


Today (Thursday), Xiaomi launched its another smartphone- Redmi Note 3 in India. The company has introduced a new Qualcomm-based variant of the Smartphone for the country, last year the MediaTek-based Smartphone was launched in China. 

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is powered by a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 650 processor. It will be available in two RAM and storage variants - one has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, and another one has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. It has 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display with  1080x1920 pixels resolution, and it offers 178-degree viewing angle. The Smartphone supports dual 4G SIM cards (Micro + Nano) and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1.1 based MIUI 7. 

Out of the box, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and Dual-tone flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. Regarding connectivity, the Smartphone supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11, Micro-USB, GPS, Glonass, and GPRS/ EDGE. The Smartphone packed with a 4050mAh battery with fast charging support that can charge up to 50 percent in 1 hour. The Smartphone measures 150x76x8.65mm and weighs 164 grams. 

The 2GB variant comes with price tag of  Rs. 9,999, while the 3GB variant has a price tag of Rs. 11,999. It will be available on Wednesday via Mi.com, and Amazon.in in Dark Grey, Champagne Gold, and Silver colour variants. Also, The smartphone features an all-metal body and also packs a fingerprint scanner at the back, which allows users to store up to 5 fingerprint profiles.
