Toshiba Dynapad Tablet with 12-inch Display, 4GB RAM and Windows 10 launched
Toshiba announced its previously revealed, the Toshiba Dynapad. The Tablet will hit the U.S. market later this month. The company says that its 12-inch tablet is among the thinnest Windows 10-based devices of such kind. Toshiba showcased, the Toshiba Dynapad in September 2015, at IFA on Berlin, Germany and then formally introduced it in mid-October.
Toshiba Dynapad powered by an Intel Atom x5 Z8300 coupled with 4GB of DDR3L RAM. It has a 12-inch display with 1920x1280 pixels resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Tablet runs on Window 10 and offers application such as TruNote, TruCapture, TruRecorder, new TruNote clip and TruNote Share.
Out of the box, The Toshiba Dynapad comes with the 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera. It has up to 64-GB NAND flash storage and support a microSD card up to 128GB. Regarding connectivity, Tablet features Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, Two micro USB ports and Micro HDMI port.
The Toshiba Dynapad measures about 6.9mm (0.27 inch) thin and weighs 580 grams. The Company is also offering an full-size optional Keyboard with a 19mm pitch and 1.5mm stroke for easier typing. When the Keyboard is attached, the weight increases to around 1000 grams. The company has not released details about battery capacity of its tablet.
Toshiba plans to start selling its Dynapad tablet online and Microsoft stores in late January. The most affordable variant is now available to pre-order priced at $570 (approx. Rs. 38,000).
