Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime will be launch in India on 15 December


Xiaomi appears to be preparing for the launch of the Redmi Note 2 Prime in India. The Smartphone already launched in China in August 2015 but never made its way to India with Ericsson's injunction against Xiaomi thought to be a reason for the lack of availability.

The Company entered into a 3G and 4G China patent licence agreement that would allow the letter to sell MediaTek's powered smartphones in India. The Online retailer Amazon is currently teasing the Redmi Note 2 Prime on its home page.

   Redmi Note 2 Prime powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It has a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution. The Smartphone support Dual SIM and will runs Android 5.1 Lollipop based MIUI 7 OS. The MIUI 7 still not launch in India, so it's expected to launch MIUI 7 with Redmi Note 2 Prime.


   Out of the box, The Redmi Note 2 Prime comes with the 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front facing camera. It has 32GB of internal storage that can further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The smartphone packed with a 3060mAh battery and it will be available approximately at Rs. 10,400.



According to company latest tweet, the Redmi Note 2 Prime will launch on next Tuesday (15 December) at 10 AM Indian Standard Time. The Redmi Note 2 Prime will be exclusively available via Amazon India.
