Xiaomi Mi Band 1S launched with optical Heart rate sensor
From last four months so many rumors about the Xiaomi upcoming 2nd generation Fitness band, and the Company has finally launched the Mi Band 1S. The Mi Band 1S work with Android as well as iOS. It also features IP67 rating, which means it can be submerged in up to 3 feet of water for as long as 30 minutes. It has an aluminium alloy made tracker module with ADI sensor and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
Compared to last year Mi Band, the new Mi Band 1S comes with heart rate sensor that delivers an advanced fitness tracking experience. It will track you heart rate and the quality of your sleep. The Mi Band 1S measures 37x13.6x9.9 mm and weighs 5.5 grams. The Band packed by 45mAh battery, the company claims that the battery life on Mi Band 1S is nearly 20 day, lower than old Mi Band, due to presence of the Heart rate sensor.
In terms of design, Mi Band 1S comes with improved silicone strap that has a larger life span than the old Mi Band strap. Like old Mi Band the new Mi Band 1S also comes with Smart unlock feature that unlock your Xiaomi smartphone and vibrates, to alert you that a notification has been sent to your smartphone.
Mi Band 1S will go on sale in china at CNY 99 (approx. Rs. 1026) from 11 November. As usual, Company decrease the price of old Mi Band, now it will available for $11 (approx. Rs. 730). There are no any other official announcement regarding to Mi Band 1S global launch. It is expected to be rolled out to in Asian and European markets in the coming months.
