Xiaomi launches Mi Rainbow 5 AA batteries at Rs.100

The Chinese manufacturer, Xiaomi launches its another product named Mi Rainbow 5 AA batteries. The Crayon-Styled Mi Rainbow 5 AA batteries comes in a pack of 10 cells, priced at just CNY 9.9 (approx. Rs. 100). At now, Xiaomi launches its Mi Rainbow 5 AA batteries in China, there is no word whether the batteries will launch outside China.

The Mi Rainbow 5 AA batteries has been manufactured by one of Xiaomi's supplier, Zmi. Zmi also produces the Mi Power Banks. Xiaomi claims the batteries pack carbon rod from Japan's Maxell and can last for 7 years from manufacturing date. Also the Xiaomi touts that the Mi Rainbow 5 AA batteries can come handy during travel time.

Recently, Xiaomi's upcoming smartphone Redmi Note 2 Pro, which was certified in China and leaked in couple of images last week. The Smartphone was rumored to come with Fingerprint scanner and made out of metal.  As per the Time News UK report, the Redmi Note 2 Pro has been 3C certified in China with model numbers 2015617, 2015611, 2015056, which might be the variants of the Redmi Note 2 Pro. Smartphone certification in China suggests it could launch this year.
