Sony Announces Android v5.1 Update for Xperia Z series and Other smartphone

   On Thursday, Sony detailed its plans as to which Xperia Smartphones will receiving the Android v5.1 update this year. Starting July, entire Xperia Z series and Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia C3 will be receiving Lollipop update. 

    Sony Announced that the Xperia M2 and Xperia M2 Aqua devices will be directly updated to Android v5.1 from Android v4.4. The Japanese tech giant also announced it was Rollin out a firmware update for it's Xperia Z1 , Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z1 compact smartphones.

    Following Xperia devices will be receiving the Android 5.1 update -  Xperia Z3v, Xperia Z3 Compact,  Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact,Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z1S,  Xperia Z Ultra GPe,Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z,Xperia ZR, Xperia ZL,  Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia M2, Xperia M2 Aqua,Sony Xperia Z3, Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia C3.
