How to Hide a drive using CMD(command prompt) ?
Hello Friends, Today We will teach you How to Hide a drive using cmd that is command prompt? Here is a trick to hide your computer drive using command prompt. Its a very simple trick. Follow the instructions step by step.
Let's start
- First open the cmd(command prompt).
- In that type "diskpart" and hit enter from keyboard.
- You see that one dialogue box are opened which has two option 'Yes' and 'No'. For that dialogue box click on 'Yes' option.
- After that type "list volume" and hit enter. You see that All your computer drive's are listed down.
- In First Column there are volume number i.e Volume 0, Volume 1,.. Each drive has unique Volume number.
- Choose which drive you want to hide and see Which volume number is assigned for that drive.
- Then type "select volume number" i.e select volume 1. and hit enter.
- After that type "remove" and hit enter.
- Close the cmd(command prompt) and go to 'My Computer', you see that your drive are hidden.
- If you want to unhide your hidden drive so follow 1 to 6 steps once again.
- After that type "assign" and hit enter.
- Close the cmd(command prompt) and go to 'My Computer' you see that your drive are get back or unhide.
